Moving to the Country

After years of close-in urban living, my clients (and two kiddos!) decided to move forward with a plan they’ve been talking about for years: pulling up their city roots and transplanting them to a Michigan farm. Although it seems like a huge change, in my practice lately there has been a micro-trend of clients leaving Portland for the country. This family was ready to find a buyer for their sweet Sabin neighborhood bungalow so they could trade in for a century-old farmhouse on acreage. Fortunately, another family fell in love just days after this house went on the market and the sale went off without a hitch…and solidly over the asking price. Goodbye city life!

"Sweet vintage bungalow in the heart of the Sabin Neighborhood. The perfect balance of classic Portland style and modern function. Beautiful front porch, claw foot tub, built ins, window seat, and wood floors are all part of the original charm."
